This low impact exercise is based on the slow, continuous movement of Tai Chi and the breathing exercises of Chi Kung, as adapted by martial arts instructor Kari Erickson.
Tai Chi is a healing exercise used to link mind and body in beneficial ways. It is an inner form of martial art based on ancient Chinese philosophy and medicine.
This simple, effective program for relaxation and stress reduction through greater mind-body awareness may bring improvement in conditions ranging from arthritis to high blood pressure. Tai Chi keeps you fit both inside and out by toning your body and relaxing your mind.
We are currently teaching Tai Chi Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9am. A face mask is required.
